I was allowed access to the Norampac Mill in Red Rock, which is scheduled to offically close November 23rd, 2006.
All of the machines have been shut down, and are in the process of being dismantled. They are no longer producing.
The photos are sad to say the least.

last saleable roll, signed by the workers

one of the signatures on the roll.

who do the workers feel will perservere? not them

jokes the men left on the machines

completely empty shipping room

they write "good bye" to the machines they spent decades building, maintaining and finally shutting down

Reflecting on the 25 conflicted years of his life he spent here

He can still recall the first task he carried out at the mill, and I know he'll always remember the last
